I have been guiding people toward better health through therapeutic touch since 1999. A graduate of the Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington D.C., I became interested in massage therapy as a means of healing and self-care after a professional career in classical ballet and modern dance. As a yoga practitioner and certified yoga teacher, I bring a practice of mindfulness through movement to my work. I believe deeply in the power of massage to facilitate health and reduce stress. Therapeutic massage creates a sense of wholeness and connection that can inform how you move through life.
My approach to massage is highly intuitive and grounded in principles of Anatomy and Physiology. I combine techniques of Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, and sports massage to create a session that is relaxing, integrative, and effective at relieving stress and pain. Through therapeutic massage, pain patterns are uncovered and released, and well-being is restored.
